What you get

W-9s collected for you

We send each contractor a secure electronic W-9 request. They enter their own tax ID, so it never travels by email.

Filed with the IRS

We e-file every 1099-NEC through an IRS-authorized e-filing provider and send you the IRS acceptance.

Contractor copies sent

Each contractor gets their copy by email, on time.

Done before the deadline

For 2026 payments, 1099-NEC is due to the IRS and to contractors by February 1, 2027.

How it works

STEP 1

Pay $99

Pay with PayPal below. That covers one business and up to 10 contractors.

STEP 2

Send us your list

Reply to our email with your business details and your contractor list (see what we need below).

STEP 3

We collect W-9s

Each contractor gets a secure W-9 request. We chase the ones who are slow to fill it out.

STEP 4

You confirm, we file

We show you every form before it goes out. Once you say the amounts are right, we e-file and send the copies.

What we need after you pay

Reply to the email we send after your payment with these details. Do not send your contractors' Social Security numbers. Each contractor enters their own tax ID on a secure electronic W-9.

You are responsible for the payment amounts you give us. We file what you tell us and show you every form to approve first, so please check the totals against your books. We do not give tax advice.

Questions

Who needs a 1099-NEC?

Generally, a business files one for each non-employee (an individual or partnership, and in some cases a company) it paid $2,000 or more for services in 2026. The IRS raised the threshold from $600 to $2,000 starting with payments made in 2026.

When is it due?

February 1, 2027 for 2026 payments, to both the IRS and your contractors. January 31 falls on a Sunday, so the deadline moves to Monday. Late forms can mean IRS penalties, so we start as soon as you pay.

I have 10 or more forms. Can I mail paper?

No. If you file 10 or more information returns in total, the IRS requires e-filing. We e-file every order, whatever the count.

What does it cost?

$99 per business covers up to 10 contractors. Each contractor after 10 is $5. No other fees from us.

How do you handle my contractors' tax IDs?

Contractors enter their own tax ID on a secure electronic W-9 through the e-filing provider. We never ask anyone to email a Social Security number.

Who is responsible for the amounts?

You are. We file the payment amounts you give us and show you every form to approve before filing. Please check them against your books.

Is this tax advice?

No. We prepare and file the forms you need based on the information you give us. For questions about whether a worker is a contractor or an employee, or about your own taxes, talk to your accountant.

What if a contractor never sends their W-9?

We send reminders. If one still has not answered close to the deadline, we tell you right away so you can decide how to handle it.
